Recently refurbished, old stone pub in the centre of Norden village. The bar is facing you as you enter, there's a pool table to the left and lots of good looking seating to the right, there's also a quiz machine. Chatty landlord on the bar, which was lucky as I was the only person in the pub at about 2 on Friday. This is a Marston's tied house so the 3 handpumps on the bar were serving Pedigree, Hobgoblin & Burton Bitter. The Burton was a decent beer and at £2.30 a pint very reasonable. The pub used to be a bit olde worlde and a bit tatty at the edges, it's certainly not now. I'd happily call in again for a pint.
