Handy for the station, as you'd probably guess. But with no real ales and a few rather loud and inebriated customers, it wasn't a place I wanted to linger in.
Big screens had been showing the Charity Shield football. The long bar had handpulls, but the choice was restricted to John Smith's, Kronenbourg, Guinness, Amstel, Birra Moretti, Strongbow, Strongbow Dark Fruit, , Heineken & Fosters.
Poor.

Modernised inside with a lot of high tables and chairs as you enter. Only 2 real ales on and both piss. I found this to be an uncomfortable place to drink. A few pictures of sporting heroes and Brian Clough on the walls.
