The Legh Arms is a pub and restaurant which was extremely busy on my Saturday evening visit. There is a large room to the left as you enter, that was packed with diners, whilst a door to the right takes you into a much smaller bar area, split into 2 small rooms around the bar. This area was all drinkers and it appears to be popular with local farmers.
Now owned by the same people as the Hop Vine in nearby Burscough, the pub has Timothy Taylor Landlord alongside their Hop Vine Hoppy Blonde. A third beer (Hop Vine Bitter) was also on for my visit.
This was certainly a lively place, but maybe a bit too packed for my liking. Nevertheless, it is good to see a village pub that is thriving.
