A friendly locals pub, where you will find yourself at the bar joining in conversation with the manager and locals alike. This is a large one room corner, which is slightly separated by a short wall on the left of the entrance. A small bar is found in a small corner along the back wall. There were three hand pumps serving Thwaites Original, Wainwright and TBC (Thwaites Best Cask). All of the beers were in excellent condition.
