I used to work in the Ladbrokes betting office that stood next to this pub. That was in the 1970s and that building has now been demolished. Never went in the pub, though. It always struck me as a bit rough, as the review from Peter Rydings below perhaps implies.

Called in many times nice enough place but its one of those every time you go there's someone new running it they all try there best but it never gets there

So very small and often ignored, this pub is a handy stop off after meeting in The Assembly.
