Community pub in a residential area that has only just re-opened after a refurbishment.

There are a couple of rooms accessed from a corridor. The one on the right-hand side appeared to be the most popular and had a separate pool room off it. The other room at the end of the corridor seemed much quieter. In fact, I'm not sure there were any customers in there at all.

In the more popular room, locals had just finished watching a Liverpool game on a corner TV. In another corner, there was a dartboard and a games machine. There was also a second TV, presumably for if anybody wanted to watch anything different to the majority.

The latest owners are an elderly couple. There are 3 handpulls, but only Landlord was available. Some of the locals gave me a few strange looks. I doubt they get many strangers in here. As such, it will be up to them to support it and allow it to stay open. But with a large corner plot, I'm surprised it hasn't been swallowed up for housing already.
