Now under new management and much improved. Just shows how variable these pubco operations can be. The interior has been tidied up and given a light touch refurb but its still a cosy pub. Two real ales from Salopian, my Oracle was excellent. A cinema room and courtyard bar are advertised. It’s now easily one of the best in town.

fairly dire place, I'm afraid. Multi roomed historic pub and reasonably cosy but the decor is all cheap drinks offers and it seems to be trying to be a tacky party place now. Or even worse, a cheap pre-drinks hole for the students. No real ale, rather 'eccentric' clientele and I doubt I will be here again.

A smallish multi-roomed pub with a couple of real ales. A beer yard is to the rear. Its a friendly little place.

Good locals pub everyone was friendly some were a bit rough round the edges but would call back
