despite the pleasant antique exterior ,, this just masks a bland refurbished pub inside. a generic pubco operation with a bar that lacked charm or atmosphere despite being busy and a restaurant that you cannot take a drink into. Three national ales on of which my Wainwrights tastes of nothing. parking can also be an almighty pain in the arse - i’d just swerve this place and go to one of the more interesting pubs nearby.
