Great pub, friendly atmosphere, small & cosy.
Good range of cask beers, Robinsons Unicorn, Jennings Cumberland, Taylors Landlord to name a few. I had the Cumberland, it was well kept & very tasty with a good creamy head. Food very good value & well prepared with a good selection on offer. Smaller appities well catered for as well as normal portions, small is relative by the way !
The pub has listings & maps available free of charge of local walks ranging from 2 miles to 7 which is a nice feature. Good big car park & extensive outside area behind pub.
Overall highly recommended, well worth a visit.
