The facade of this pub is ok,it is only when you are inside you can see the pub is in desperate need of a major refurbishment.As this was the only pub open at lunchtime in the area on that thought i would give it a try.On entering and finally shaking off a barking Jack Russell Terrier that had taken a rather aggresive stance towards me,ordered a pint of Carlsberg as there was not much going on the real ale front.The clientele was a mix of old timers,young women with babies and toddlers,a couple of youths and various types of dogs.Tried not to overstay my welcome in this pub so i quickly drank my pint and made a hasty exit.(On the plus side the beer was cheap)
