A very pleasant pub with a welcoming atmosphere for such a big venue. We have used it for some club meetings and they put on chips sandwiches at a very reasonable price. It’s always a nice pint and the food is wholesome country grub.

We have visited this pub for a number of years while staying at Thurnham Hall. The present proprietors run a good ship with quality ales, wines & food. The food is in 'traditional home made' style, lambs liver with mash + veg, steak & kid pud etc. Will be calling in again this December for more of the same, enough said..!
