Recently purchased from Mitchells by the long standing licensee is a friendly community pub hidden away on the fringes of suburban Lancaster, a few footsteps away from a massive housing estate or rolling countryside. It must be one of the most obscure pubs in Lancaster. Two rooms, the main one much bigger and more spacious than the other. Basic homely food served. A simple immaculately kept pub where everyone knows each other but strangers are very welcome. Three ales on across the two rooms, Black Sheep, Wainwright and Everards Beacon Hill.
