Brainy Pool left this review about Black Bull Hotel
a fairly strange pub at the central pivot of Bentham high street. One big room basically besides a tiny room to the side of the bar with a dart board. Two huge screens showing Dexys Midnight Runners and German football respectively. Some diners were in beneath the latter screen trying to talk to each other over the deafening cries of Come On Eileen on the speakers. Four Thwaites standard ales and friendly service and the place did have some charm despite everything. But it’s probably a nightmare on Friday and Saturday night when the karaoke starts.
