Not sure if this is the same pub as previous reviews suggest. I was expecting a huge barn like place and its not, unless there are other parts to it. A simple small open plan pub with 2 areas left and right. I'm guessing its been done up since the spat in 2011. No real ale.

A great pub to visit any time of the day or evening, bar staff are very helpful and cant fault them.
If you are in at weekends get in early for a seat or you wont get one as the place gets busy.
Met Rob Camra one night, a typical real ale fella, wooly jumper, and big beard that looked like there was a bird living in it and very look down his nose at you attitude.

Another ripped out lager barn with a similar clientele to the nearby Grants Arms. It's a large room with a pool table on the right as you enter. A small raised area to the left. Big screen TV's with At The Races showing. No real stuff of course. It's not quite as bad as the Grants, but it's trying to be.
