This is a 1920's, brick built Sam Smiths pub that still has quite a few of its original fittings. These include a mosaic floor, lots of turquoise tiling and wood panelled walls. Two rooms to the left as you enter, one with a pool table, the other with a dartboard both nicely wood clad along with a lounge to the right which had a real fire going. A friendly landlady and a couple of chatty punters in the bar area. Sadly there's no real ale, so I had to have a half of Sovereign which set me back a whole 97p. I really liked this pub, what a shame there's no beer.
