Large knocked-through place over a couple of raised levels which retains a small amount of period features. One main bar and an adjacent sports bar/function room. The best seats are outside with a view across the bay. Just Abbot on, it was basic but serviceable (NBSS 2.5) which kind of sums-up the whole pub, really. Comedy points to the barman who couldn’t understand what an orange juice and lemonade was and proceeded to use squash. There’s a lot of unrealised potential here.

The bar in this large seaside hotel has remnants of its original layout, but by and large it's just one big room now. Quite a few people were here for pre-match drinks when I visited this time last year. I saw four real ales on the bar (see photos) and had a half of the Bank Top beer which cost me £1.40. This was not a bad pub, far better than I feared when approaching from a distance (compare the North Euston Hotel, for example), and I wouldn't mind coming here next time the Fleetwood v Luton fixture pops up.

Visited here while at the beer festival i have to say great pub with very friendly staff they had 3 pumps wainwrights bombardier and landlor all very well kept,oh and the comming soon spelling mistake is an advertising stunt if you cared to make conversation with people in the place you to would know this,quite funny really as its got people talking about the place
