An OK pub but not great. Multi-roomed with at least 4 rooms to sit in. Very traditional and though it looks a bit tatty it isn't too bad. That said, I was the only person in on this midweek afternoon visit. 3 handpulls on the bar but only 1 working with something called Usher Celtic Gold. The place is still cheap as chips so possibly worth a bit of your time.

This is a lovely pub with an old world charm. Plenty of alcoves to lose yourself in. 3 Real ales on handpump and good efficient service. Karaoke on the night I was there and the singers were actually not bad at all and added to the night. Friendly locals friendly pub. Clean toilets and generally clean and tidy throughout. My one gripe would be the upholstery has seen better days and a bit of a spring clean in this department is what is holding this pub back from being one of the better places to drink in Chorley. A real pleasant place to be. A very real improvement on my last visit a year ago.
