Was looking at reviews and WTF???..."Restricted opening hours amd no people will put this place on the only when we are bored circuit as opposed to the must go to circuit" ~ must have had one or several of those Blonde Witches you were on about because it made absolutely no sense to me. Jazz Band on Sunday afternoon...not to be missed if you like that kind of stuff (I didn't but still enjoyed it!)

The re opened Swan. Whats different? Nice pint of Blond Witch, no atmosphere, DJ with empty dancefloor, no punters and what is it with the wallpaper??????????? Someone was having a giraffe when they put that up. Restricted opening hours amd no people will put this place on the only when we are bored circuit as opposed to the must go to circuit. Ok for a quite pint with the mistress but certainly not the place to take your fabulous new dress.

Until recently was one of the better Chorley pubs but seems landlord has taken eyes off the ball.

Certainly not the same friendly atmosphere, one or two obviously very drunk people who should really be removed. My lady friend of the night said the atmosphere was intimidating. Loose the ladies and you loose the atmosphere.

The disco was pretty average with the DJ managing to fill the floor then promptly empty it with some crap music.

All in all used to like this place but its has really gone downhill. Not on my main list of pubs to visit anymore.

Real ale was ok on my visit
