Roadside pub that has been given a trendy paint job and light touch refurb. The interior is still in a semi-traditional country pub inside with a locals bar to the left and a more expansive dining focused space to the right. Only Landlord on the bar, surprising because the locals like their ale around here and I saw plenty of it being poured during my short visit. I like village pubs like this and this one is a standard example despite the gentrification.
