Blue Scrumpy left this review about The Wheatsheaf
Located near the end of Ingleton's High Street, this pub is bigger than it first seems. There is a bar area to the left as you enter, but off to the right is a large sprawling section favoured by diners.
Theakston Best Bitter & Sharp's Doom Bar are the regular beers. The guest beer was called One For The Road, but it had no name on the pumpclip. Beermats on the bar were from Laine's and some of the keg beers were also from Laine's. When asked the provenance of the beer, she said she didn't know, but the pub often sourced beers from Laine's. I'm fairly sure I've seen beers before that didn't display the name of the brewer, but I've come to the conclusion that they were Laine's. Either way, I decided that if they can't be bothered to put their name to the beer, I can't be bothered to try it.
I did however decide to stay for dinner and chose the curry of the day. I can't say I was overly impressed. Our food came far too quickly for it to have been freshly cooked. I've had better frozen curries from supermarkets.
This pub is one of those that is probably busier in the summer. There was plenty of promotional material for the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge. So, I'd imagine anybody attempting this could find themselves staying or at least eating here. As a pub, it was the worst of 3 I tried in Ingleton.

Strongers . left this review about Wheatsheaf Inn
After being dragged around the Ingleton Falls Trail for five miles my knees were jubilant when I spotted the Wheatsheaf in the distance. The long and thin interior houses a large dining area to the right and a bar with seating to the left. On the left hand wall was a plasma screen showing muted rolling BBC news and there was some low background music playing.
A standard and premium keg range was available and three of the six hand pumps were unused leaving Jennings Cumberland, Theakston best and Sharps Sea Fury as the cask ale options. The pub grub from the food menu was reasonably priced, but I did not eat so know not of the quality.
Down the left-hand side of the pub is a car park and out the back is a grass covered beer garden with some picnic tables. Accommodation is available.
To be honest I was looking forward to a pint in a cosy traditional Yorkshire pub with roaring fire, but alas this pub was lacking.

This seemed pretty uninspiring and was fairly empty on a recent Friday night visit. However, apparently various sections are being closed off over the course of the next few weeks for refurbishment, so it may well be worth checking back.
There's a decent sized beer garden out the back which is a nice spot if the sun's out.
