Not a cool pub at all, with no food advertising in evidence. I suspect it's changed hands at least once since the last review. They have a sign outside saying they serve cask ales. They're lying. There is a handpump but it wasn't clipped and looked rather forlorn, so strictly speaking they could sell A cask ale. The pub is one large room with lots of small tables and a couple of sofas. There's a large screen TV on the wall which was showing Euro 2012. Even the Fosters wasn't on so I had a Carling. This is a boring, non-descript pub with nothing to make it stand out from hundreds of others. I suspect we'll never call in again.

Cool pub with really good food. The chef here is Phil Doyle - definitely one to watch.
