Timothy Taylor's pub which was closed for "staff holidays" on my recent midweek visit. The pub seems to be in the Michelin guide, but despite a social media presence, had obviously decided not to publicise its closure apart from the small blackboard outside. Not particularly helpful when you've just travelled over 200 miles to get here.

Timothy Taylors tied house, the Taylors range is well looked after. This small village pub has coal fires and a nice menu plus a specials board. There has been a recent change of landlord and the prices have become a little on the top side but still a small friendly pub worth a visit
