What with the name and the general exterior look I was expecting a genteel olde worlde place. However on entering the plethora of screens and football shirts pinned to the ceiling marked this out as a sports pub first and foremost. Mish-mash of furniture, most of which had seen better days. To the rear was a pool table. Live music advertised. Just me and the barmaid doing her chores on Tuesday lunchtime. Three pumps but just Doom Bar on which in fairness was decent. I guess it serves a function locally but there isn't much to recommend it otherwise.
