There was a decent older crowd in the White Horse generating some atmosphere with friendly banter during a recent Tuesday evening visit. To the left are a couple of raised areas with seating in the front and a dartboard in the rear that was also being used for storage. To the right is a staple shaped bar counter that supports standard and premium keg. In the far right is a pool table and the televisions were showing FA Cup football via BBC. Judging by the number of televisions I imagine that Sky and/or TNT Sports are shown. Check times before visiting, I believe that the doors don’t open until 16:00 during the week. There was a decent atmosphere, but the pub itself needs some TLC because I wouldn’t class it as being comfortable.

The landlord and landlady of the White horse are a very friendly couple, The pub its self is quite quiet, everyone who goes in are friendly.
They do have music on at the wk-ends, All in all a nice local pub
