The Three Pigeons is on the western edge of Bolton.
This is a decent looking Stone built pub from the outside, once inside the bar was facing and the pub had been opened out into one large room with different drinking areas, there was seating on three sides of the bar
The right side was for younger drinkers with tall tables and chairs and a large tv showing sports, the left side was slightly raised and this area had bench seating and normal tables and chairs this was a fairly comfortable and quiet area to have a drink in.
The pub was quite smart and carpeted throughout
The pub does food all day up till 10.00 and there were quite a few people having meals at about 9.00 at night, none of the tables were laid out for meals.
There was one real ale on the bar this was called Victoria Ale but there was no indication of who brewed this beer, the beer was very lively when served and it tasted like nothing i have had before i think the beer must have been off as i did'nt enjoy it at all.
I thought this was quite a nice pub it was a shame the beer was'nt up to scratch.

I do not recommend the three pigeons! We ate there today and to my disbelief my food was VILE! There was egg shell on my food, the eggs were unny and uncooked. a big dirty stalk on my tomato was mainly cold. The award winning sausage were horrid. The skin being chewy. I left almost all my food oh and my bacon was seriously undercooked. I complained to the waitress to be just told i'm sorry. Nothing was done about the food and i was left hungry :( DO NOT EAT HERE! They put 2 for £10 offer on hhhmmmm for a reason...because it sucks! Lots of other customers were also complaining
