Retro late-80’s boozer with flower fabric banquettes, green carpet and T’Pau on the speakers. Geezers behind the bar, horse-racing on the telly and lots of Muhammad Ali boxing prints. Friendly place if somewhat earthy. Three pumps, Bombardier and a hazy plankton-infested Doom Bar. Nothing here to contemplate a revisit.

A true English pub. With open fires low celling and exposed beams. A welcome break from bright light, music, and stainless steel.
