Locals pub where they were all awaiting the appearance of a Bolton lad on the kids' version of The Voice. A woman sat on a stool at the bar asked everybody to be quiet when it came on. A guy next to her was sat eating a kebab with a knife and fork. He was possibly the landlord. A lovely looking bulldog was watching on.
I seem to recall a bit more about this pub than the previous one. Perhaps the soaking we had just received from a short sharp shower had sobered us up a little. The locals certainly seemed to be amused by our bedraggled appearance on entering!
Bombardier is the regular beer here. Guests were Wainwright & Boxer Blonde. I haven't had Bombardier for several years. This one was much better than I remembered. It was washed down by some tasty, but spicy crisps.
