Situated in a residential area to the west of Bolton town centre, this pub is ideally reached by bus number 501 from the town centre. I literally stepped off the bus into the pub.
There are 3 small rooms, one main bar to the left-hand side and two similarly small rooms used mainly by diners to the right-hand side. There were a number of families eating. Many of the tables were reserved and with no free tables, we soon decided to sit at one of the reserved ones, as we were only stopping by for a swift half. Once again, we were tempted by the tasty-looking pizzas, but stuck to our schedule!
Wainwright is the regular beer, whilst the guest beer was Flat Cap.
The Finishers Arms is a lively pub, but a little too focused on food or at least it was for our early Saturday evening visit.

The pub has changed a little over the past 12 months. The new managers, Dennis and Christine have smartened the place up, started food and have put on some entertainment. Gets busy in the evenings, not so in the day. No kids allowed regretably.
