What looks like its going to be a rather traditional pub from the outside is in fact a bit of a modern bit of dullness. That said, its pleasant enough. Split into two with a wall separating two areas. The bar is to the left and there are no beer fonts on the counter. Instead there are 4 handpulls and 8 wall mounted taps behind the bar. Real ale consisted of Moorhouse White Witch, Rat White Rat and Ossett Inception. The real ale was a welcome sight after the initial trepidation on entering.

After trying several other names in the past the pub has now opted for Tails & Ales which is a shortened form of cocktails and real ales.The pub is quite trendy inside with a modern décor and has 4 cask beers on the go, which were difficult to spot (Behind bar on right hand side wall)but there is a cask menu board on the left hand side of the bar.
Called in around noon on a Friday where all casks were £2.70p a pint although I think on a Monday and Tuesday the price is reduced to £2.20p
