Not great but a fairly acceptable pub. Basically split into two with a pool table area to your right and a small snug-like area to the left. There are 2 handpumps hidden away to the left end of the bar but both clips were reversed. Now that the bus station opposite has gone I assume this place may struggle. Hopefully not, despite the pubs limitations.

An Irish pub, with Irish flags around the walls, but it's not a fake theme bar. There's a sign behind the bar that says "Ask about our range of cask ales". I didn't need to as the only ale available from the 2 handpumps was a reasonable enough Tetley Mild. There's a pool table, dartboard, jukebox and quiz machine with a karaoke rig set up in a corner. This is like a back street locals pub, but right in the town centre. The locals were friendly enough, but I think it could get a bit hairy in here late on a Friday night, it has that kind of atmosphere.
