A GK refit-by-numbers pub. For an early Thursday evening it was more like a Saturday – dimly-lit with loud music and a ceiling of twinkling blue fairy lights greeting us. Roaring fire and a dart board. Four pumps with two on; GK IPA and OSH (fair), served up by a friendly barmaid. Good whisky selection noted. Bit of an odd one, really. The locals seemed happy enough but I doubt I’d feel the need to revisit any time soon.
