Located right next to the station this is a popular pub for people waiting for trains. I counted around 19 ales/lagers to choose from. Full of station memorabilia. Very much on the pricey side, a pint of Peroni is over 7 quid. They also do food although I've never tried any. Not a bad stop whilst waiting for a train but too expensive to have multiple drinks here.

The Three Guineas is a Fuller's pub that fronts Reading railway station, with the outdoor drinking area to the front forming part of a kind of pedestrian piazza.
Inside, we found a fairly large crowd, in spite of it being before 11am. There were quite a few rugby fans heading for Twickenham and Reading were playing at home in the football too. Most were drinking, but some were tucking into breakfasts.
The main bar area is on the right-hand side, with a separate dining section off to the left. The latter area also contains a small coffee shop with service either from inside the pub or from Platform 7 to the other side of the ticket barriers.
The 4 regular beers served are Fuller's London Pride, ESB & Oliver's Island & Gale's HSB. In addition, there was Fuller's Red Fox & Mythic Harmony, Gale's Seafarers & Utopian Red Ale. I had the Red Ale, which was nothing special and was quite expensive. Looking at WhatPub, I missed a 20% CAMRA discount which would have saved me 70p off a half!

Seems fairly small inside, part of the former station buildings, there is a large front area. The beer on my visit was very good quality though slightly pricey, it being at the station and being Fullers
