Formerly a large 1930's roadside pub built for the motorist, despite not being on a main road to anywhere in particular (maybe they were expecting one to be built?). Was quite tired and grubby in its latter years and rarely sold any ale (despite a brief flirtation with Two Bridges in 2010). Now turned into a Co-Op. Could've been good, given the right investment as the interior retained a few interesting features and was quite spacious.
