Seems to have settled on three ales, two from the nearby (over the road in fact) Binghams and London Pride. Quality usually pretty good.

Not really a pub as such, this is predominantly a homely restaurant that nonetheless carries up to three ales, usually London Pride and Binghams Twyford Tipple (the brewery is literally over the road) plus something from Brakspear, Binghams or Rebellion. Usually the ale quality is good but I had a bad experience in here 18 months back where they were serving what they clearly knew was dodgy beer (took mine back swiftly and replaced it saying that they knew it was going - but then promptly served the same off beer to a customer two minutes later!). The back garden is nice in the summer and they have their own animals (presumably for the carving knife?!?). Closed Mondays.

I love this pub. Homely and welcoming atmosphere, the food is amazing and well worth paying for.
I am a regular here and find it a place that I can go time after time with family or friends. It has a big open garden, where there are ducks freely roaming. The staff are very accommodating, polite and prompt. The pub it's self is very clean and professional.
The landlord's wife has a small antiques shop in here and you may find something worth while, I am always digging around for something and 9/10 times, I find what I like.
This place is a 'must do', don't miss out!
