This is now being leased to Jelly Arts and is most definitely now an ex-pub.

Used to be quite a tidy place but went rapidly downhill over the last few years. To quote from elsewhere "if they spent as much effort on the beer as they do Christmas decorations, Reading would be a better place". Favourite memory was when someone let a smoke bomb off in the rear bar, prompting squeals of panic from dimwits thinking we were being bombed.

the coopers arms is no longer open, RIP the coopers arms, what great times there where in this friendly and welcoming town centre pub that had a local community !!! shame it closed on 28 feb 2010 to make room for a new shopping arcade and flats :-(
