Large pub and adjacent hotel run by Thwaites. It's very smart inside. Plenty of outside seats as well. Food always available plus Thwaites cask beers. On Blackburn Rovers matchdays it can be overrun by away fans as it is the 'official' away fans pub.

A show piece for the local brewery with a fine range of Thwaites Ales and Lagers. Food available and a number of tables for out door drinking. Accomadation available in the adjacent lodge.
Pub well placed for football (app. 200 yards) to Ewood park.
