Visited in February 2012 after hearing The Butlers Arms was under new management. What a great decision to give it another chance after visiting under the previous management! The welcome by the staff was fantastic, the service was perfect, the food and drink selection was great. This is a lovely pub/restaurant and it's nice to see it being run so well again. Our food arrived within a very reasonable time of ordering, we were served complimentary warm bread with oil and vinegar while we were waiting, which was a lovely gesture and we were very impressed with the freshly cooked, homemade food. All round a lovely experience, without a fault. Recommended to anyone and I will be sure to visit again soon!

Last Sunday ws decided to have our lunch at the Butlers, where we have been on numerous occasions and have never been let down.On arrival was slightly surprised at the number of empty tables scattered around. We chose the roast beef dinner, which was ok, but was a little disappointed by the assortment of veg or the lack of them in this case.Besides the potatoes, the only other veg on show was carrots which was in great abundance, and unless you were a carrot fanatic was a bit overpowering.Over the last couple of years the price has risen quite steeply and for a village pub think the price has gone beyond a lot of peoples price range.
