A narrow lounge bar that goes back further than you'd think. It's nicely decorated with comfy seating to the left and the bar to the right. There's also a couple of screens for live sport. Ticking over nicely on my Friday, late afternoon visit. No real ale of course, so I had a half of lager. It's a pleasant enough place and if I lived here I'd probably call in with the other half occasionally.

When i went in this pub it was called Sloanes, the pub was situated on one of Ashtons pedestrianised shopping streets.
I was not that hopefull of getting a decent drink in this pub by the look of it from the outside.
Once inside the pub there was a decent sized room that went back quite a way,the room was carpeted and had comfy bench seating and normal tables and chairs.
To my surprise there was one real ale on the bar, this was Worthington bitter which was on handpump, this was a decent enough drink.
This pub was very handy for shoppers and was a night venue for younger drinkers.
