The Royal Oak is a small town pub that is situated at the bottom end of lees road.
Once inside the pub had two small rooms, there was a cosy lounge and a decent bar,i had a drink in the lounge, this room was carpeted and had comfy bench seating and small stools.
The pub was a John Smiths tied house at the time of my visit, there was one real ale on the bar, which was John Smiths bitter on handpump, this drink went down very well.
I really liked this pub.
