Alan Winfield left this review about The Lord Napier
The Lord Napier is a small pub that is situated on a small street just off penny meadow.
Once inside the pub had a few small rooms with a basic bar and a small cosy lounge,i had a drink in the bar which was a nice room to drink in.
When i first visited this pub it was a Tetley tied house with a decent drink of Tetley bitter on the bar,by the time i got round to take a photo of this pub it had been taken over by Vaux brewery, but there were still real ales on the bar.
I quite like small pubs like this,i hope it continues to serves the local community for many more years.
