this is one of the best pubs in the north west the landlord is a very friendly guy

The Cottage Tavern is a decent looking pub that is on the busy mossley road,the pub is quite close to two other pubs on this stretch of road.
Once inside the pub had a decent looking bar and a smart lounge,i had a drink in the bar.
The pub was a Greenalls tied at the time of my visit,there were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Worthington bitter which was on handpump,the other beer was Greenalls bitter.
I was happy enough drinking in this pub.
