The Albion was a smart looking corner pub that was painted white outside, the pub was a shortish walk from Ashton Under Lyne train station.
Once inside the pub had three seperate rooms,i had a drink in the bar, which was a decent sized room that was quite basic with bench seating and small tables and stools, the lounge looked smart and comfortable.
The pub was a Robinsons tied house, there were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Robinsons bitter which was a very nice drink, the other beer was Robinsons mild.
This was a proper pub for drinkers,it is a great shame that it has now gone for ever.
