A big, grotty pub that attracted all the wrong elements in this otherwise fairly peaceful part of Whitley. Interior was divided into two large bars, though only the public bar side was ever open. Never sold any ale and the sight of a female minus tattoos and a Croydon facelift always attracted stares. Now closed for good (a mini-mart) and I doubt many mourn its passing - which is sad as it could have been a decent pub if run properly and invested in as there wasn't much else nearby.
