Community pub in the centre of the village of Stockbury. It has a single large room and a modern-looking feel. There was a garden at the rear.
Just two other customers were present on our visit. Both were waiting to dine. But the chef was running late.
The solitary ale was a disappointment. Having left London behind to tour this part of Kent, London Pride was not what I'd hoped for. Pumpclips behind the bar gave a tempting insight into what could have been available.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Harrow
Attractive pub on the small, triangular village green that was rescued as a community local in 2017 after it was closed by Shepherd Neame. The four seasonal murals on the frontage have been redone, and the 'L'-shaped interior has been completely refurbished in a light, semi-modern style. On a Sunday lunchtime, most of the tables were laid up for dining, but a couple of family groups just having a drink were seated near the bar and there are also some stools along the counter. A beer garden can also be found to the rear. I found two of the three handpumps in use, dispensing the 'house' Kentish Bitter (from Tonbridge Brewery) and Wantsum Montgomery (£3.60), with several other clips for local real ales in a variety of styles on the bar-back which suggest a good rotating line-up.

A traditional village pub, currently owned by Shepherd and Neame. Two rooms at the front and one further back have been knocked into a single large L-shaped bar. The floor is carpeted and there is an original (I think) Victorian fireplace. The pub is busy and the staff friendly. Good, simple food is on offer, cheap and very good value for money. There were 2 ales on - I had Kent's Best which was in very good condition. Well worth the drive out for lunch, supper or just a few beers, and it's worth deviating from the A249 to find.
