Blue Scrumpy left this review about Seven Stars

The Seven Stars appears to be the only surviving pub in Foots Cray. This was another pub that I wasn't sure was actually open until I tried the door and gained entrance.

It was fairly quiet inside, with just a few regulars (both men and women) sat at barstools discussing submarines and the Titanic. The solitary real ale was London Pride. I got the feeling that this is more of a foodie pub. Although I was visiting between meal times. So, it may get much busier.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Seven Stars

Obviously quite an old pub, located just beside where Foots Cray High Street crosses the river, although the 'information board' inside is very speculative. The partly opened-out interior comprises the bar and a lounge at the front, one dining area at the side and another at the back - all thoroughly refurbished in a light semi-modern style). Beyond this, you can find a patio seating area (which is obviously not the advertised riverside beer garden), but through a low gate and down three steps you do find the real thing (with a babbling brook and quacking ducks giving a pleasingly timeless feel, if you can ignore the passing traffic...). Just Spitfire (£4.10) from the two pairs of handpumps, but on a quiet, sunny afternoon (when everyone else was watching the World Cup football) I really quite enjoyed my brief stop here.
