I was the only customer when I walked in at 21:30 on a recent Thursday night and the landlady informed me that she was shutting up shop so I had half a generic lager which was all that was on offer. There is a pool table and table football at the rear where some doors lead to what looked like a beer garden. There is a plasma screen that was showing muted music videos, the point of which I know not, and I didn’t spot any Sky Sports advertisements. Along the front windows to the right of the entrance is a dartboard on a raised area.

This is a very basic high street pub and I found the service to be friendly, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit here again.
