Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Papermakers Arms
Upmarket, food-led pub with a smart interior (although this was temporarily out of use due to the coronavirus restrictions still not having been lifted fully, and the opening hours are currently restricted). On a Sunday lunchtime, the rear terrace was full of diners, but there were still a few free wooden benches in the lower grassed beer garden. Two real ales available: Larkin's Traditional (£4.00, and in good shape) and TT Landlord.

This pub was rebuilt in the last year of the 19th century, 1900, to replace an earlier incarnation dating back around another 100 years.
I came here once with a girlfriend in the mid-'90s and it was a fairly traditional pub for this idyllic village.
Photos on its website indicate that it would now be a stylish gastropub.
Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
