Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Dukes Head
Attractive weather-boarded pub, partly opened out inside but retaining traditional furniture and decor. Additional patio seating at the front for when the sun is shining. Three of four handpumps on when I visited, offering Doom Bar, Bombardier Burning Gold and Box Funnel Blower vanilla porter (£3.40, and in good form, although the lady behind the bar insisted I had a taster first in case I wouldn't like it).

A friendly village pub with a mixture of local characters from all age groups.
The main bar serves a choice of real ales, a selection of lagers, wines and spirits and has a pool table, dartboard, gaming machines and 2 TV screens for major sporting events, including Sky & ESPN.
The quieter lounge bar is used as dining area for the Wednesday curry night and the Friday fresh fish & chips night and also makes an ideal venue for small private parties.
Outside there is a patio for sunny days, a family garden with childrens play equipment, a covered smoking area and a large car park.
Regular events include the Monday night Music Quiz, cash prizes plus a bonus rollover jackpot round, and Thursday night Poker club, Texas Hold'em with sweepstakes and a buffet - new players always welcome.
