A nice looking traditional pub from the outside but once in it has a sports bar feel with TVs on the walls next to posters advertising Karaoke. Doom Bar was the only ale on my visit, cocktails seemed to be the thing here, not for me.

The Jolly Knight is a decent looking pub that is next door to the Kings Head.
Once inside there is a single oblong shaped room with the bar on the right side, the seating is tall tables and chairs to the front and comfy bench seating to the rear right, the room is carpeted.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of GK St Edmunds which went down well, the other beer was Old Speckled Hen.
There was a TV on showing football.
Customers who were asking for the beer garden were directed to the rear corridor which leads to the Ye Arrow.
I thought this was a decent enough pub to have a few drinks in.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Jolly Knight
More plainly decorated than I remember from before, with sparse furniture and a lack of atmosphere hardly helped by some dull sport on the large TV screens. Doom Bar, Olde Trip and St Edmunds (£3.50) available from five handpumps. Exited through the corridor linking it to Ye Arrow (which had the same ale selection on, and benefits from a patio beer garden where most of the customers were to be found on a hot summer's day).
