A single roomed pub that tries to cater for all with an extensive pub grub menu aimed at families, tourists and lone drinkers alike. two beers on from five handpumps, Bath Gem and St Austell Proper Job. Not a pub I would choose to drink in on a regular basis but serves a purpose.

A nice traditionally-furnished pub with a slightly strange shaped interior, Behind there is a large outdoor drinking area covered in decking which is very peaceful, apart from the obligatory extractor fan. Not many beers on at time of visit but the Harvey's Best was ok. various events including live music and quiz nights advertised.

The Eagle Tavern is a decent looking pub that is next door to the City Wall pub.
Once inside there is a single L shaped room with the bar facing, the room is bare boarded, the seating is two tall tables and chairs to the front right, two leather settees to the front and normal tables and chairs on the left side.
There is a small stage to the rear left which must be used for the live bands which are advertised.
There were four real ales on the bar,i had a drink of St Austell Tribute which went down very well, the other beers were St Austell Proper Job,Adnams Ghost Ship and Sharps Atlantic.
Decent background music was playing and there was a decent bunch of locals in on my Saturday dinner visit.
There is a garden to the rear.
I quite liked this pub.
